In order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake a documenting progress of the retrofits in the Bay Area was made by EERI. This site is about showing and sharing progress since Loma Prieta. It’s an experiment in community mapping, and its success depends on you. We want to get the word out to engineers, architects, owners, contractors — anyone who might want to share the progress they’ve made toward reducing risk over the last 20 years.
